Today our attention was taken by a match from the French League 1 between the teams of Bordeaux and Nice. The home team from Bordeaux are on the ninth place in the rating with 36 points from 26 matches, and the guests from Nice are on the third place with 40 points, also from 26 matches. The bookmakers give advantage to the home team from Bordeaux, as for the average odds for their win are 2.00; for a draw the odds are 3.30, and for a win from the guests from Nice the odds are 3.95. We can’t give you a reasonable answer why is the team of Bordeaux so favouritised. In their last home match, Bordeaux lost from Saint Etienne 1:4. Although the home team in the match today are in the list of “home teams” and rarely lose two matches in a row (it last happened before about a year), it is very possible for them to lose a second match in a row, because they have a whole team with injured players(11 guys), plus, two will absent, because of penalties.
At the same time the home team hasn’t won for six matches in a row as a guest and it is about time for them to win.
One of the main players of Nice (Ben Afra) is injured, but they don’t have the same problem as Bordeaux to have their players absented. In the last two matches between both teams (Nice vs. Bordeaux), Nice has two wins (one as a home team and one as a guest), as for the last match between them ended with 6:1 for Nice. Our opinion for this match is that Bordeaux wont win and we will bet on one of the following options:
Prediction: 2 – with Asian handicap 0 – odds 2.80
Prediction: 2 – DNB- odds 2.65
Prediction: 2 – double chance 1.85
